For awhile I won't be blogging here...but I will return with even more great Etsy finds.

Nessa is getting ready for company...so we'll be back soon :). We promise!

Until then, tell us about your 4th weekend...did you all have a great time?

Monochromatic Monday!

So today's Monochromatic Monday is a little different. I'm wishing summer was a little warmer, it's still not as warm as it should be for days in a row. We have had some nice days that I've been able to sit on the pontoon and soak up the sun. And, I'm really hoping we can take in a fishing trip soon.

This all got my mind thinking about fish...yellow ones in fact. So I went on a search for some and found SUPER cute ideas/gift...or heck buy them for yourself ;).

This one obviously was super fun because it's gone :). But, you'll have to check out the rest of the store to see what else is there. This one come to us from Karley at She Sews Lovely.

You don't know how MANY times I've grabbed a cup of joe and they didn't have the cardboard wraps to go around the cup. My husband says I need to toughen up, I think I need to get me one of these!

You can even purchase them in sets...keep one in the car, one at your desk/work, one at home.

Be sure to check out this super cool eco products!!

This caught my eye right away. Can't you just see how soft this is from the photo?! I could spend all day looking at Brooks Boutique. The fabrics used are beautiful.

These stitchmarkers made me giggle when I saw them. Super cute!

Check out the listing {here} to see the Yarn Lust Etsy shop!

www.scrapmomof2.etsy.com showcase!

I'm super excited here today to announce two things...one a brand new etsy shop...AND a giveaway :). Now, do I have your attention? I thought so...

I met Carol over at The ScrapCity. She started out as a member and joined the Creative Team at SC last year. I know call her a great friend even though I've never met her in real life. Her work is fabulous and she's recently opened an Etsy shop to share her work with all of you.

Here is a little about Carol:
I'm Carol Sheetz, and I live in Illinois. I've been married to my wonderful husband Dave for 15 years and we have two amazing daughters, Emily (12) and Jessica (11). We also have a very spoiled Australian Shepherd appropriately named Princess. I'm very thankful that my family supports my creative efforts! I don't know what I would do without them!

I've been scrapbooking for such a long time, and my love for it continues to grow. I went to a Creative Memories demonstration many years ago, but I just didn't like the white pages of their books or the cost!! One night, as I was flipping channels, I saw Lisa Bearnson presenting a colorful scrapbooking kit on QVC, and I made my very first QVC purchase, and I've been addicted ever since (both to QVC and scrapbooking!) Shortly after that, I went to a Stampin' Up demonstration, and I can vividly remember the first time I saw heat embossing demonstrated. Wow! Another addiction was born.

I scrapbook, rubber stamp, make cards, alter items, and I love it all! I never thought I was creative until I started paper crafting. Now, I realize that it is my art form, and it really makes me happy!

Say Whaaaaa Wednesday!

Doncha know it's "Nessa's favorite stuff day?" Ok... that's a lie that isn't a real holiday :) But I have a bunch of sellers who have been amazingly kind to me in my first months at Etsy and also a bunch of sellers who made things that just plain made my day! So let's just pretend that it's my own special holiday K?

First off we have the shop of TSurfer! I discovered her store when I was still a buyer on Etsy and she was ever so kind to me :) I had at least eleventy billion questions and she always was willing to chit chat with me and help a newbie out! The advice I got from her was priceless. In addition to how awesome she is she makes some crazy fun stuff! My very favorite thing are the pillowcases.... Elli has since gotten four and she LOVES them! Here's a couple pictures of Elli wearing some darling creations from TSurfer's store!

The next store is one that I just adore! I really need someone to come over and build me and extra room just so I can make an entire town of playhouses for the kiddos :) Head on over to

Miss Pretty Pretty's Shop and check out all the amazing playhouses! Elli got one for her birthday and she LOVES it! It gets played in every single day! Additionally the creator of these wonderful playhouses helped me out in a bind when I was running short on time.... her customer service is amazing! Here's a picture of Miss Elli checkin out her playhouse for the very first time. What a ham!

I recently got a new banner and avatar YAY! And I am so in love with them! I searched all over Etsy and I kept coming back to Swieky siggies! She just has the most amazing style and it was like she climbed into my brain and figured out exactly what I wanted to see :) Check out my new favorite of her listings right HERE!

Now I'd like to introduce you to my buddy Nicole from Lillianna Marie Designs! We met randomly in the forums one night and she has become my late night hootin' owl pal! Elli has quite a few of her darling hair goodies and they are SO cute and well mad eit's ridiculous :) I am always amazed at the fun fabrics that she picks. Here are a couple of my current faves from her store!

First the Forest Animal Kawaii Fabric Button Ponytail Holders AKA the ponies :) Elli has a pair just like these but with different animals and she adores them! She got a few and I let her pick ones to have right now and hands down these were her very favorite! And here's the best part... they actually stay in her very fine hair! Woo hoo ponies!

Second is this Rag Rose Fabric Flower. I *think* this is the only kind of Nicole's hair goodies that Elli doesn't have yet and it's SO next on my list! Isn't it just the cutest?

OK Y'all I'm about to pass out and drool on my fancy new laptop, so I need to make it short :) Here is a list of people who I have ordered from that have all been wonderful to me and have provided excellent customer service! I have chit chated with them all and they are just lovely :) I will be sharing more in depth about their stores in the very near future!

Toni from ToniZ Polymer Clay. If you like to play with clay you must head over to Toni's!
Here's the deal... I have no idea what to do with clay, but the butterfly canes were so darn cute I had to snatch them up and learn about them later! Toni has since contacted me a couple times to ask if I was ready to learn :) Customer service through the roof with this shop!

Shoebox21's Designs! Again... with my butterfly obsession in this store :) I purchased hand drawn bookmarks and they were so gorgeous I couldn't put them in a book! They're framed in my scrap room and they make me SO happy everytime I see them! She is one crazy talented artist!

Fashion Candy I just can not get enough of this store! It's one of the few that I check daily because I get such a kick out of her work and can't wait to see what she does next! A certain someone already has stocking goodies from this store and will have more before it's time to stuff said stockings! Check it out... the products are awesome and the customer service was superb :)

Ok I hope you all enjoyed a trip into my brain.... the brain is SO tired so off for now :)
